What this website collects
This site is a set of static pages. It does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics profiles, or behavioural cookies, and it does not build a profile of you as you read.
One exception is worth naming plainly. The verified badge in the footer is served by Psychology Today, which confirms the listing is current each time a page loads. That request tells them your IP address and which page you are on, exactly as visiting their site directly would. The TherapyDen badge beside it is hosted here and sends them nothing. Neither badge sets a cookie, and blocking either one leaves the rest of the site working normally.
The contact form
The enquiry form on the contact page does not send anything on its own. When you submit it, the details you typed are used to open a pre-addressed message in your own email application. Nothing is transmitted until you press send there, and nothing is stored on this website.
Email is not a secure or confidential channel and is not covered by the protections that apply inside a therapy session. Please share only what is needed to arrange a conversation. Clinical detail belongs in session.
Clinical records
Information shared once you are a client is handled separately from this website, under the confidentiality obligations that apply to licensed mental health professionals in New York State, and under HIPAA where applicable. Full details, including the limits of confidentiality, are covered in the intake paperwork before therapy begins — ask about anything in it that is unclear.
Not a crisis service
Messages sent through this website or by email are not monitored around the clock. If you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, text HOME to 741741, or call 911.

The service and specialty pages on this site describe therapeutic approaches in general terms. They are educational, not clinical advice, and reading them does not create a therapeutic relationship. Whether a particular approach suits you is a decision to make together, with your own history in front of us.
