Going through the challenges of life on your own can be tough; but with the genuine support of an empathetic, attentive, encouraging therapist who is ready and able to provide the safe and nonjudgmental space that welcomes you to delve deeper into yourself, you can discover your inner resources. As your therapist, I will ensure that you feel seen, heard, and understood. Together we can uncover the core source of your anxiety, depression, stress, and painful experiences and work towards your growth and healing. My approach is Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused. My training in somatic interventions will help you to identify places where feelings are stuck in your body and you will learn ways to notice and release discomfort. My use of Cognitive Behavioral and Rational Emotive Behavioral skills will help you to explore the overwhelming thoughts, limiting beliefs, and negative patterns that have been holding you back and keeping you down, and you will learn tools that help you move forward into the life that you want to live and thrive in.

I hold a limited permit in mental health counseling and currently practice under the licensed supervision of Nicole Jenkins. In additional to my clinical background providing skilled therapy to individual adults, children, adolescents, and families, I also hold a Master's Degree in School Counseling and have a wealth of experience teaching children, as well as with adults in Academic Counseling. My post-graduate education includes formal Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling, which has equipped me to treat issues that have included grief and loss, trauma, sexuality, life-purpose confusion, and work-life imbalance. I look forward to meeting you and beginning our work together on the issues you are faced with.
